Coexist.

I took a picture of this poster I have (my sister bought it for me for Christmas, it's currently tacked to my ceiling!) for my GSA because we're trying to advertise/promote equality in our school, and let people know we're there for support in general, whether they're gay, straight, or anything in between. We accept everyone of all orientations, races, ethnicities, religions, spiritualities, and any other unrighteous prejudices you can think of. We're also campaigning for Safe Space, which pretty much means we're going to ask teachers and faculty members to put this flier we're going to make up in their rooms, and since no one will probably read them, announce to their classes that because their room is a safe space, they won't tolerate any kind of hateful comments or bullying in general to go on in their classroom or around them in general.

I think our group is going to have an impact, and we're also thinking about putting the Safe Space symbol on each of our social media pages (facebook, tumblr, and twitter all included) and once we figure that out, I'll prolly put it up here on my dA page, as well. The goal is for it to go viral and have many people supporting the idea of equality to everyone, and to try and prevent bullying in both schools and online. Along with the symbol, we'll probably post a message on each page explaining what the symbol stands for and what we WON'T stand for.

Hopefully once this gets underway, some people here on dA will want to join in. If you can, try to not stop here on dA. If you have other social media accounts, put them there, too! Let everyone know you're not going to stand for bullying, and that you accept anyone and everyone, regardless of the prejudice.

Let's all coexist, guys. We can do it.
